| ABOUT ANCIL |

 |
Named by Dad but nurtured by Mom |
| |
According to Dad, I received my
name from Ancil Brooks, a career Army soldier from Roane County,
Tennessee. Dad credits Sergeant Brooks with saving his life many
times during World War II. It was not uncommon for five tanks to
go on a mission but only two or three tanks to return. This near escape
from death happened many times. But many
miles away, prayers were spoken by a woman who never made more than
minimum wage but shared enormous wealth with me. She never finished high
school but imparted wisdom of divine origin. She only lived 75
short years but altered my life for eternity. |
